Abstract :
This article presents a novel approach in linear-phase finite-impulse response filter design based on cosine modulation. It is shown that the proposed technique is equivalent to a simple mapping between Mth-band filters, i.e., given an Lth-band filter, an Mth-band filter can be obtained by simple calculation where L and M are different integers.
