Abstract
A method of determining coil or condenser merit is cited. The more usual types of intermediate-frequency transformer assemblies are described. Formulas are given for predicting gain and selectivity. Frequent difficulties in composite amplifiers are mentioned. A method of obtaining high fidelity is described in detail.
