Abstract :
This paper deals with the electrical issues related to the NRC Generic Letter (GL) 89-10. A brief background along with the basic design requirement of motor operated valves (MOV) is also presented. The degraded voltage impact on MOV´s are discussed. Analytical and diagnostic techniques to study degraded voltage issues are presented to resolve the issues raised in GL 89-10
