Abstract :
The performance of a Faraday anomalous dispersion optical filter operating on the Cs 455-nm transition is calculated. The results show that the filter can provide high transmission (0.96), very narrow pass bandwidth (0.9 GHz), and low equivalent noise bandwidth (3.3 GHz) under optimum filter operational conditions. The optimum filter conditions also suppress the transmission of the Cs 459-nm transition.<>
