Abstract
The effect on the individual elements of a linear time-varying
network resulting from multiplying its nonanticipatory impedance
by a function
is considered. Conditions on the multiplying function to conserve passivity and/or losslessness are found. Although the impedance
considered in this paper will represent a one-port network, most of the results obtained can be easily extended to
-ports.
