Abstract :
Software techniques in data structure and special binary properties in computer words have been used for the development of a new computer program called SNAPEST for generating network functions in symbolic form. This new approach is found to save computer memory and time by considerable amounts, when compared to programs wellknown at present. Some examples are given at the end of this paper to illustrate the advantages and efficiency achieved by the program.
