Abstract :
Modern computerized techniques for assisting in the planning of distribution systems include a wide range of computerized, automated design procedures. A number of different techniques are reviewed and tested in a uniform manner. Benefit, data, resources and sensitivity to a number of factors are all compared and reviewed. Guidelines for application and evaluation of need are developed.
