Abstract :
This paper presents a complete Rectenna setup using zero biased rectifier and doubler circuit, and compares the output voltage of both configurations. A pentagonal patch antenna is designed to receive the RF energy of S-Band and stepped impedance LPF is also designed to remove harmonic signal. EM-Co Simulation technique is used for the analysis of rectenna, while Ansoft HFSS and Agilent ADS tools are used for simulation purposes. The results indicate that the output voltage of the doubler configuration dominates over the single diode rectifier configuration, which are 0.818 and 0.617 V respectively at 0 dBm.
