Abstract :
New experimental data are presented for conductors having ratios of width to thickness of 1 to 1 to 2400 to 1 for frequencies up to eight kilocycles. These data are co-ordinated with existing data furnishing an experimental proof of the "principle of similitude." "Skin effect" formulas are also checked with the experimental data over the range of frequencies for which these relations apply.
