  • Abstract
    This paper is dealing with transient recovery voltage (TRV) of circuit breaker located behind transformer. Based on theory and experiments, it tries to clarify the notion of amplitude factor. According to previous measurements it gives a relation between amplitude factor and inherent frequency of transformers and a method to calculate this frequency. The actual parameters of TRV can be measured with a simple method.
