Abstract :
In this paper we study the properties of complementary-tree graphs and describe the applications of such graphs in circuit theory. The applications include: 1) a topological method for inverting some special matrices, 2) a new proof of the unimodular property of the fundamental circuit and cutset matrices, and 3) a new characterization of the topological degree of freedom of a graph.
