Abstract :
Turbine flow meters can be represented by a simple first-order nonlinear system adequately with two instrument constants: the meter scale-factor and the dynamic factor. Conventionally only the scale-factor is determined during calibration. This paper presents a method to ascertain the dynamic factor, so that the dynamic response of the flow meter is also taken into account.
