            Abstract : 
Two new ternary trellis line codes with error correction capability are proposed for high speed digital transmission over metallic cables. Such as high bit-rate digital subscriber line (HDSL). For a signalling interval T (in seconds) the bulk of the signal energy is located below 1/4 THz, preventing electromagnetic emissions and minimising the effect of near-end crosstalk
