Abstract :
A single transistor low power (less than 0.15 μW per transmitted pulse) underdamped radio-frequency (RF) pulse position modulator circuit, with remote switching, for implantable biotelemetry units is presented, and its performance discussed. Experimental results, showing, for instance, the ability of the circuit to communicate over 30 mm of tissue, are also reported
