Abstracts of dissertations

W??th this issue we start a section on Abstracts of Dissertations in the field of biomedical engineering. The Editor wishes to thank all concerned for their excellent response to his request for this information. By the end of the year we will be publishing current abstracts, and if faculty supervisors continue to cooperate by sending us abstracts when students graduate, we will be able to continue what should be a valuable addition to this Transactions.
