Abstract :
A uniaxial anisotropy in a substrate-superstrate microstrip configuration is examined. With a Wiener-Hopf type technique the reflection coefficient is found for a TEM wave obliquely incident at the edge of a semi-infinite conductor lying at the interface of the two uniaxial dielectrics which form a grounded double layer. A thin layer approximation is proposed and results for the resonance length and the input impedance of microstrip antennas are presented
