Abstract :
A general systematic method for determining large-change, multiparameter sensitivity of linear networks is developed from the formal theory of scattering in condensed matter. The method, based on matrix manipulation, constrasts and unifies previous works on analog and digital networks. Standard Basis Operators are introduced as an expedient tool, which aides in the solution of scattering matrix equations. Explicit exact sensitivity formulas are developed for several types of multiparameter changes in both analog and digital networks.
