Abstract :
It is shown and verified experimentally that a multiple output nonlinearized operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) can be efficiently used for the practical implementation of very high selectivity Q (Q>100), high frequency second-order filters (f0 >10 MHz) with programmable f0 and Q values in CMOS technology. Filter types presented are lowpass and bandpass. It is shown that with the proposed approach, filters with products f0Q close to the maximum allowed by the technology can be synthesized. Experimental results of 2 μm CMOS test-chip second-order filters with f0Q=2 GHz are presented
