Abstract :
A canonical form is presented for a dass of Roesser´s model such that the denominator of the transfer function can be expressed by product of two polynomials with a variable, where the model is assumed to be separately locally controllable or observable. This form will be obtained by extending a well-known canonical form in one-dimensional linear systems to two-dimensional case.
