  • Abstract
    This paper addresses the problem of capacitor-case rupture in pole-mounted distribution capacitor banks.. Fundamentals of fusing to minimize capacitor-case rupture are discussed. Also considered is the exposure to nuisance melting as a result of inrush currents.
