Abstract :
A T-matrix used for image scrambling is proposed and its periodicity is proved. The T-matrix has a simple conformation and a period twice as long as the Arnold matrix. It can be applied to image encryption and pre-processing in image processing such as image watermarking algorithms. Two examples of applications are given.
