Abstract :
The IBM eServer fulfilment Centre is located on the IBM Technology Campus in Mulhuddart, Dublin. The eServer product portfolio built at the plant includes the full range of IP and zSeries servers. The range of servers built in the facility varies from desk side server to mainframes and all servers are configured, built and tested to customer´s exact requirements. The author describes the introduction of cellular manufacturing at the IBM Server Fulfilment Centre in Dublin.
