Abstract :
An asymptotic estimate of the amplitude for the ScottMurata oscillator has been determined. Some useful approximations have been reported by other authors, however the present approach is more accurate, so providing amplitudes in better agreement with the computed data from direct numerical integration of the differential equation, representing the model.
