Abstract :
In this letter the analysis of power systems with more than three phases is discussed. It is shown that the six-phase elements can be replaced by equivalent three-phase elements. The load-flow algorithms and the techniques for the computation of short-circuit currents, which are available for three-phase power systems, can hence be used for six-phase and other high-phase-order power systems.
