Abstract :
Monitoring the pulse shape of the low-frequency fluctuations instabilities of a semiconductor laser under optical feedback, an asymmetry between the front and rear facet laser outputs has been detected for the first time. This behavior is ascribed to a dynamic change in the coherence properties of the emitted light during each laser pulse
