Abstract
An adaptive system is described that tracks the peak of the spectral density function of the input signal. The system has been designed so that it can be easily realized in a single MOS integrated circuit using switched-capacitor (SC) techniques. Many characteristics, such as the transient response and the tracking of sine waves corrupted by noise, of a prototype (built from discrete components) are described.
