Abstract :
An algorithm is developed for finding maximum amplitude zero-input limit cycles in recursive digital filters. Computer results are given which establish the feasibility of our algorithm and determine the tightness of previously published limit-cycle bounds. It is also shown that the maximum amplitude limit-cycle problem can be formulated as an integer linear program.
