Abstract :
Dynamic characteristics of self-controlled synchronous motors are analyzed on the basis of the state-space method and Runge-Kutta-Gill method. As the results of this analysis, the effects of dc chokes, damper windings, and saliency of the motor on these characteristics are quantitatively clarified. Transfer function models of this type of motors are also proposed.
