Abstract
An approach to cascaded, uniform, lossless transmission-line networks by the transfer scattering matrix in the
-domain is presented. This approach can be applied to network problems treated in both the time and the frequency domains and is well suited for a computer programming. It is shown that the reflection function and the transfer function are obtained by simple matrix multiplications and conversely, the network is synthesized by the use of the transfer scattering matrix determined from the realizable function.
