Abstract :
The magnetic properties of high Bs nanocrystalline FeCoCuNbSiB alloys with low Si content annealed under a transverse magnetic field have been studied. The magnetic induction at 8000 A·m-1, B8000 increased with Co content x up to 30 and takes a maximum value of 1.71 T at x=30. In addition, this alloy showed the linear B-H loop and the low core loss of 370 kW · m-3 (47 W · kg-1) at 100 kHz, 0.2 T. Hence, nanocrystalline FeCoCuNbSiB alloys promise as core materials for inductors and transformers in the high frequency range because of their high saturation magnetic induction, low core loss, and linear B-H loop.
