Abstract :
A model describing transient propagation in multiconductor strip transmission lines supporting transverse electromagnetic waves travelling at different velocities has been implemented. The model uses a transform approach to derive the closed-form expressions for the line voltages and currents in the time domain and assumes linearity of the terminations as well as frequency independence of the electrical parameters of the lines. These relations are easily used for computer modeling and the simulations show good comparison with experiments.
