Abstract :
We report the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity and magnetization for the off-stochiometric Ni49Mn29Al22 single crystal. Resistivity data give the clear evidence of intermartensitic structural transformation at ∼273 K, followed by a martensitic transformation at ∼341 K. Intermartensitic phase transformation is also observed in the magnetization versus temperature data.
