Abstract
Hurwitz polynomials find applications in the stability studies of dynamic systems. In this paper two-variable (2-V) semi-Hurwitz polynomials are defined and their application in the study of the stability of two-dimensional (2-D) half-plane filters is illustrated. Four types of semiHurwitz polynomials are identified and a number of properties of very strict semi-Hurwitz polynomials are presented.
