Abstract :
In this letter, we present a low-profile switchable quadri-polarization diversity aperture-coupled patch antenna. The proposed antenna can provide four polarization states by controlling the DC bias voltage of four pin diodes in the feeding network. The experimental results validate the novel antenna provides polarization diversity features for wireless local area networks (WLANs) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems.
