  • Abstract
    A nonlinear model for dynamic studies of hydro turbines is proposed. The model of a single turbine and its water supply conduit is given in the first section of the paper, together with a parameter estimation from field tests. The second section is devoted to die modeling of multiple turbines supplied from a common tunnel taking into account the hydraulic coupling effects. Comparisons between simulation results and experimental data are presented
