  • Abstract
    This paper reports the authors´ experience in the application of decomposition techniques to VAr planning. Numerical examples to illustrate the application of the methodology to large scale networks in different planning options, with different combinations of new reactive equipment types and alternative investment cost functions are presented and discussed
