Abstract :
A systematic procedure is introduced to design a maximally flat low-pass filter with multiple order imaginary-axis zeros. The filter characteristics is specified by the passband and stopband edge frequencies, maximum loss in passband and minimum loss in stopband. This approach can lead to an optimal design of this class of filters.
