Abstract :
Some aspects of time-domain characterization of cables with nonsymmetric geometry of four and five conductors are examined. although previous data of A.K. Agrawal et al. (ibid., vol.21, no.1, p.28-32, 1979) indicated a reasonable agreement between frequency- and time-domain data, the present extended data indicates that this is not the case for multiconductor cables with a larger number of component conductors.
