Abstract :
This paper describes toroids for a large in vivo experiment on the effects of the magnetic field produced by electric power systems. The toroids are designed to be housed in structures that comply with the experimental protocol requirements and with the experiment specifications. The toroids were designed by using the integral approach for field and vector potential computation and a deterministic approach based on a successive quadratic programming algorithm for their optimization. The paper presents and discusses the results.
