Abstract :
An inter-digital slow-wave coplanar waveguide (CPW) geometry on silicon is described and its use in a new, low-loss transition from CPW to slot-line is discussed. The example transitions are designed for the 10-30 GHz frequency range and are approximately two times smaller than typical slot-stub designs.
