Abstract :
A new design method to obtain a state-space system which simulates the operation of an LC ladder prototype is introduced. The state-space system is relatively sparse and can be found using simple algebraic manipulations. Through the use of an example, it is shown that the resulting filter maintains the low-sensitivity properties of the ladder prototype.
