Abstract :
We present details of the modeling, design, and evaluation of single-channel implantable system with a half cuff for monopolar selective stimulation of the common peroneal nerve in hemiplegia. For this purpose, an activating and total equivalent driving function for 12 μm nerve fibers located at six positions within the nerve were calculated by the finite element method (FEM).
