Abstract :
Analysis of the Wheatstone bridge has shown that the optimization of the maximum normalized bridge sensitivity can be achieved if the power dissipation in two of the four bridge elements approaches infinity for a given source voltage. Results also indicate that the power input to the bridge can be minimized as a function of maximum normalized bridge sensitivity.
