Abstract
We report for the first time temperature and orientation effects on the magnetic properties of sputtered Ti, Zn doped barium ferrite (BaFe12O19, BaM) thin films in the temperature range of 173-523 K. Coercivity, Hc, and saturation magnetization, Ms, of perpendicularly and randomly oriented films showed different dependence on temperature. The temperature dependence of the thin film crystalline anisotropy energy was measured to determine its anisotropy field. A very small BaM thin film dHc /dT was measured in the vicinity of room temperature, which is substantially smaller than those of undoped or Ti and Co doped powder
