Abstract :
High-power operation of monolithic modelocked lasers based on 1.26 μm self-organised quantum dots has been achieved in the 30-60°C range for the first time. A 60°C peak power reaches 1.7 W with a pulse width of 3.2 ps at a repetition frequency of 5 GHz.
