Abstract :
An instrument to characterize glass-microelectrode equivalent-circuit parameters is described. The same amplifier performs the measuring system characterization and works as a voltage follower for intracellular potential measurements. With this solution no change occurs in the system parameters when it performs the characterization, or does the measurement in order to get the microelectrode equivalent-circuit in the actual system configuration.
