Abstract :
In this paper, we point out an error in the above paper by Nguang (ibid. vol.45 (2000)), which shows that the main result of the paper cannot stand. In the paper, the Nguang considers the problem of robust stabilization of a class of triangular nonlinear system, and develops an iterative procedure of constructing a stabilization controller based on the constructive use of appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functions. However, we show in this note that there is an error in the paper, which leads to the failure of the iterative procedure, so the conclusion cannot stand.
