Abstract :
Another method in the determination of the frequency response of hot wires has been presented. The method was based on the superimposition of a plane acoustic wave over the flow inside a pipe. The response of hot wire to this plane acoustic wave over the audio frequency range of 140 Hz to 20 kHz has been investigated with different wire lengths and different air flow velocity over the wire.
