Abstract :
An emitter-follower type circuit is presented for generating radio frequency oscillations. Like the Colpitts and Hartley circuits, it is easy and rugged to operate and gives comparable voltage output. In the oscillator, a parallel LC circuit or a quartz crystal is connected between the base of the transistor and ground, the output being obtained at the emitter.
