Abstract :
A new type of current to pressure transducer in which a magnetic fluid in a sealed chamber displaces a diaphragm toward a combination air nozzle and magnetic pole-piece is described. The transducer is simple, shock insensitive, temperature compensated and with typical design choices exhibits a sensitivity of 4.8 psi/mA
